Engage Foundation is a nonprofit that equips people in Utah County to take part in the life of their communities through nonpartisan civic education, public conversation, and local connection.

Our mission
Engage Foundation promotes civic education and civil discourse so that people of every background can participate in their communities with knowledge, integrity, and charity toward one another.
Healthy communities depend on neighbors who are informed, principled, and charitable toward each other, even when they disagree. We create spaces where people can learn about the issues shaping their communities, practice respectful conversation across differences, and find practical ways to contribute where they live.
What we do
Three ways we show up in Utah County.

Civic education
We offer nonpartisan learning opportunities, such as reading lists, workshops, and public events, that help people understand local government and engage thoughtfully with complex issues.

Community conversations
We host structured public dialogues on difficult topics. Our recent conversation on artificial intelligence, held with Utah Common Ground, helped participants explore a complex issue with curiosity rather than division.

Act Local Community Night
Our annual community fair connects residents with local organizations. The second annual event, at the Provo City Library Ballroom, brought together more than 50 organizations for an evening of conversation, music, and ways to get involved.
